Joe Pug, Live at Schuba's Tavern

First and foremost, go and buy Joe Pug's EP, Nation of Heat. It's incredible. It's more than a little Dylan, but with, well, feeling? Smart, emotive, real songs, with actual meaning. In fact, if you like it, head to his website. He's got an offer for you. His first full-length comes out sometime this year, and I can't wait.

Joe will be joining one of the strongest Newport Folk Festival's ever on August 2 this summer at Fort Adams in Newport RI. You'll need to go. That's not an option, that's a must.

Here's Joe Pug, live at Schuba's in Chicago
