I think I want to preface this by saying a few words about the band and their music. It's very polarizing. It's polarizing to me sometimes. Phish is not an easy sell to a lot of people, and I just wanted to say I'll try to post 3 new updates to compensate (!) However, with that being said, there is a LOT of music out there that doesn't have a millionth of the guts and depth that Phish bring to the stage. OK. That's enough.
SO....
My favorite Phish show of the summer is shaping up to be the first night at The Gorge [8/7/2009], but gimme a few minutes and, who knows, that might change.
Throughout the show, you have
1) a monster setlist,
2) excellent pacing
3) incredible and inventive playing.
Here's an example of why I love this band.
